(10) Arlington – Arlington is not one of the most well known areas but one of the fastest growing suburbs in Memphis, so I guess we can call it one of Shelby County’s “best kept secrets.” If you’re looking for a cozy small town feel in a suburban neighborhood that offers mansions and nice sized homes with vast amount of land for existing homes or to build a home, then this area is your dream playground. If you work in the city, you can expect a little drive but it’s worth it for what you may get in return for living in the neighborhood.
