Memphis rapper Crunchy Black born Darnell Carlton, formerly of the award winning Memphis rap music group Three 6 Mafia, was shot over the weekend while reportedly in Las Vegas, according to sources.
Crunchy Black, most known for his dancing and catchy hooks when he was with Three 6 Mafia, is stated to be fully recovering after the Las Vegas shooting incident.
The rapper, who left Three 6 Mafia in 2006, has been solo and working under Hard Hittaz.
Most recently, Crunchy Black released the mixtape Crunchy Black presents Hard Hittaz Money Gang: The Streets Need To Eat, which features the likes of Calio, Boogie Mane, Kevloc, 9Nine, amongst others.
While details are sketchy, it is unknown what initiated the shooting, but the rapper seems to be in good spirits, according to sources, since the shooting.
