An alleged Memphis pimp known as T-Rex born Terrence Arnett Yarbrough is facing life in prison after being convicted last week. The 37 year-old was convicted of sex trafficking and committing food stamp fraud.
In federal court, Yarbrough was convicted on 10 counts of sex trafficking and 1 count of conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud after being indicted in 2010.
On last year, Yarborough a federal grand jury indicted him on 14 counts which included child sex trafficking of four teens and sex trafficking of eight women by force, fraud and coercion from 2006 to 2009.
Yarborough who has had a very interesting case which included having a face-off with federal judge U.S. Dist. Judge S. Thomas Anderson during his hearing in 2011, allegedly marked four of his victims with his street name T-Rex, knocked out one of the victim’s teeth, chopped off her hair with a knife, smashed a woman’s head into an automobile and beat her with a belt for missing a call, stripped skin off her back, scorched another woman with boiling water, burned a victim with an iron, and beat another with a padlock. One victim claimed Yarborough impregnated her then forced her to prostitute through her entire pregnancy, beat her into labor, then forced her to return back to prostitution following delivery of the child. The list of extreme abuse goes on for Terrence ‘T-Rex’ Yarbrough.
For sex trafficking, Yarborough faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a possible minimum of 15 years in prison with no chance of parole. Yarbrough also faces a maximum sentence of five years for conspiracy.
Yarborough is set to be sentenced on April 18, 2013.
