The body of missing Arkansas real estate agent Beverly Carter was found dead in a shallow grave north of Little Rock, Arkansas and now a suspect has been arrested in her alleged killing.
Beverly Carter, 49, went missing on September 25th, the day she was scheduled to show a home in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Her worried husband went to check on her after not being able to reach Beverly Carter and found her abandoned car with the purse inside the vehicle outside of the unlocked home.
Since her disappearance, many questions were raised about her livelihood until her lifeless body was found on Tuesday, September 30th.
Suspect Aaron Lewis, 33, was arrested in connection with her disappearance and has since pled not-guilty in the murder of Beverly Carter although reportedly Lewis wanted to plead guilty but made claims he was encouraged by his attorney not to do so.
Lewis was charged with kidnapping, capital murder and possession of a firearm and, while questioned by media, reportedly admitted to taking part in the kidnapping of Carter along with another accomplice named “Trevor,” who is stationed at the Air Force base.
Allegedly, it was Trevor that killed Carter and when asked by media why, Lewis reportedly explained that “she was just a ‘rich broker’ woman that worked alone”.
