Former Memphis Fitness Club Employee Gets 16 Yrs For Molesting Young Girls

A former employee of Life Time Fitness center in Collierville, TN in the Memphis metro area will be serving sixteen years for molesting three young victims while he worked in the child care center at the facility on Houston Levee Rd at Poplar.

Anthony Webster, 29, plead guilty to four counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Initially in 2011, when Webster was arrested and then released on a $1,000 bond, it was only known that Webster had molested only a six year-old girl. However, later, two more victims (an 8 year-old and 9 year-old) surfaced and video footage was retrieved which served as evidence in the case in 2012 that resulted in Webster being confined to jail.

The state had hoped to give Anthony Webster a 24-year sentence, but a plea agreement is giving Anthony Webster a mandatory 16 years with no parole and community supervision for life.

Currently members of the large posh fitness center are weary about the young children who have been traumatized by the incident and hope that in the future that establishment and any other one offering child care service keep a closer monitor on those hired in the child care center area.
