Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors

Our Memphis Grizzlies took on the Golden State Warriors tonight. Grizzlies had a 2 game win streak on the line. It’s sad to say that they did not make it to a 3 game win streak. Golden State cruised pass the Grizzlies pulling in 128-110. We all knew that this would be an extremely high scoring game with the Warriors. Golden State always brings the energy and they were excited to end their 3 game losing streak tonight.

We feel that every game from here on out we have to come with the purpose that it is a playoff game,” Grizzlies guard Mike Conley said. “We’ve got to win these games to have an opportunity. We let this one slip away.”

The Grizzlies had a huge scare in the 3rd qtr of the game when Zach Randolph went down. Randolph tripped on Warriors Guard Corey Maggette’s foot coming down the court in transition. He finished the game with 16pts, 5rebs before hobbling out with his sore ankle. There is no time table on his recovery or the condition of his injury.

We all hope for a speedy recovery for Zach.

The Grizzlies split the series with Golden State thanks to the rookie sensation Stephen Curry. Curry went off tonight easily throwing down 30, 5reb, 11ast, 4stl to lead the Warriors to a 20-51 record. Memphis fell to 38-34 but has many chances to rebound. Let’s support our fellas as they continue on the road to greatness.
