Seeing the chilling videotapes of the Rockdale, Georgia twins Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead confessing to the murder of their mother will either leave you disturbed or saddened.
The story of these two sisters brings to mind the movie “Perfect Sisters” based off of a true story about Linda Andersen, who was murdered by her two daughters Beth Andersen and Sandra Andersen.
The movie Perfect Sisters stars Abigail Breslin and Georgie Henley as sisters in the film, who got tired of their alcoholic mother and her abusive boyfriends, so decided to do the unimaginable and plot to kill their mother.
Like the movie, these set of twin sisters did similar, but all for another reason – a mere argument when one had awaken late to go to school seems to have sparked their family’s tragedy.
When the twin sisters, Jasmiyah and Tasimyah Whitehead committed the crime four years ago at the age of 16, they allegedly lied to authorities, now new light is being revealed about what may have really happened on the day they killed their mother, Jarmecca Whitehead on Jan. 13, 2010.
Unlike the Andersen sisters who received a 10 year sentence, which they only served around a half of before being released, the Whitehead twins received 30 year sentences in their case.
