Memphis Man Charged With Raping 4 Adopted Daughters For 12-Yrs That Mom Kept Secret

A Memphis man and his wife have been arrested in connection with child rape of their adopted children. The man – the father is accused of raping and engaging in sexual abuse acts with his four adopted daughters over a 12 year period and the mother is accused of hiding the family secret.

The family, which lived in the Hickory Hill area of Southeast Memphis, are accused of robbing four adopted girls of their childhood innocence.

The father, a 60 year old man, allegedly raped and sexually abused the four young girls multiple times for more than 12 years, and started with one as young as 5 years old.

The mother allegedly walked in on one of the girls being raped, but kept the father’s sexual acts and the family abuse a secret.

One of the girls, who are now aged 16 to 23, was brave enough to speak out against her adopted father revealing the horrible family secret.

The father, whose identity is not being revealed at this time for the protection of the children from public shame, reported WREG, now sits in jail on 14 charges of associated rape, rape of a child, and sexual battery with a $500,000 bond, while the mother was arrested on coercion of witness.
