Aaron Lewis, the man suspected of kidnapping and killing the missing Arkansas real estate agent, Beverly Carter, reportedly says she was targeted simply because she was ‘a woman that worked alone.’
Although Aaron Lewis, the suspect in Beverly Carter’s murder pled not guilty, sources say Lewis wanted to plead guilty and even mentioned another possible accomplice in the crime.
It was Tuesday when news broke that the missing Arkansas real estate broker Beverly Carter’s body was found in a shallow grave.
Soon after that, news of Aaron Lewis broke that he was in custody, accused of killing Carter.
Carter had been missing since Thursday, on the day she was scheduled to show a home in the town Scott but Carter never returned from that appointment.
Her worried husband went to check on her at the home after failing to reach her by phone, and this is where he reportedly found her car abandoned outside the unlocked home with her purse still in it.
Now that Lewis has been charged with capital murder, kidnapping and robbery, details for the reason of her shocking murder is sounding an alarm.
Not only did Lewis reportedly claim that she was targeted for being a woman that worked alone but because she was “a rich broker”.
