Police have tracked down and captured a 12-year-old boy wanted for murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jarrell Milton, 12, who was reportedly on the run since last month, was sought by police in connection with the fatal shooting of Jamymell Ray, 31.
Ray was reportedly killed in a shooting that took place on June 29 in Omaha, Nebraska, where another man Charles Fisher, 30, was also injured.
12 year old Jarrell, who was captured in Minneapolis, hundreds of miles away from where the shooting took place, is believed to have been involved in the Omaha shooting.
Jarrell’s older brother, Jamar, 17, and another teen Shuntayvious Primes-Willis, 15, were already arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the same shooting which was believed to have been a fake drug deal set-up and botched robbery attempt.
The boys allegedly set up Jamymell Ray who believed he was coming to buy marijuana when he was allegedly an unexpected victim of a planned robbery. During the alleged attempted robbery, something went wrong and Ray was shot.
Court proceedings are set to take place on Wednesday in the shooting case.
