Woman Assaults, Pulls Gun on Husband’s Girlfriend When Served with Divorce Papers

A Memphis woman landed herself in jail after she allegedly assaulted her husband’s girlfriend when he came to serve her divorce papers.

According to WREG, the husband of Sharona Coach-Barnes went to serve her papers for divorce and brought along his new girlfriend.

Apparently this angered Coach-Barnes to the point of assaulting the woman and even pulling a gun on her.

Sharona Coach-Barnes allegedly started punching her husband, Derico Barnes’s girlfriend, Cherrita Evans, along with pepper spraying her following Derico Barnes serving her papers for a divorce.

Coach-Barnes was arrested on aggravated assault charges and had a bond of $30,000 set for the alleged incident.
