Roethlisberger Apologizes; Racial Favoritism Claims Arise, Santonio Holmes?

Big Ben spoke out today apologizing to all of his fans. Ben was accused of sexual assault on a 20 yr old woman in a night club early last month.

He had not spoken to any press during the ongoing investigation of him, but, the judge ruled that there was indeed not enough evidence for a case so it was thrown out.

Roethlisberger’s attorney stated “The charges can’t be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The victim did have sex that night but evidence was unable to confirm with who. The victim did NOT want to participate in a trial because it would bring negative light on her. She just wants to move on with her life as if this never happened.

Ben also being of Pittsburgh Steelers saw his teammate Santonio Holmes traded to the Jets this week after his incident in the club. People are saying there is a little racial favoritism there because you suspend the black athlete but, do nothing to the white one. I’m sure Roethlisberger will get some sort of punishment either by his franchise or the league.
