Gilbert Arenas Done With 2 Days in Jail; Shooting Hoops at Halfway House?!


Washington Wizards guard Gibert Arenas released from jail Monday morning. Arenas was charged for bringing 4 guns into a NBA arena to play a joke on his teammate Javaris Crittenton.

Washington Wizards guard Gibert Arenas released from jail Monday morning. Arenas was charged for bringing 4 guns into a NBA arena to play a joke on his teammate Javaris Crittenton.

Gilbert has been in the jailhouse since 7:40pm on Friday April 9th.

The reason that he was required for jailing was for medical testing then Gilbert’s off to the halfway house.

During his 30 day stay at the halfway house, Arenas will have many responsibilities. Gilbert will have to perform 400 hours of non basketball related community service during the day and be home by nightfall.

According to the Washington Post, Arenas will have access to a basketball hoop which is outside the Halfway House located in Montgomery County and will also be able to watch basketball on cable TV in a community room.

In addition to the hours, he has a substantial fine of $5,000.

Gilbert will be eligible to continue his NBA career next season while still on his 2yr probation.
