Ying Yang Twins rapper D-Roc, real name Deongelo Marquel Holmes, 33, has been accused with driving drunk with small children in the car.
The Atlanta rapper, one half of The Ying Yang Twins duo, was allegedly spotted swerving in the streets of Atlanta crossing the lanes several times in his 2002 GMC Yukon Denali, police said.
When the Gwinnett County police pulled him over, according to reports, they smelled alcohol and marijuana as soon as the window was rolled down.
The rapper reportedly admitted to having “a few beers at a friend’s house” and smoking marijuana earlier that evening.
In addition to his DUI charges, the rapper was also charged with child endangerment because he had 2 small children – a 3-year-old and a two-month-old baby – in the car with him, who were both asleep in the back seat.
Upon searching the vehicle, police reportedly found marijuana and Xanax.
This is not the first time the rapper has been in trouble for driving intoxicated, according to police records, Holmes was reportedly charged with DUI on two separate occasions in 2004.
Holmes currently faces a total of seven charges, including DUI alcohol, improper/erratic lane change, possession of a drug related object, charge for less than an .oz of marijuana, violation of Georgia controlled substance act and two counts of DUI child endangerment.
