Memphis Nightclub ‘Club 152’ Raided, Shut Down, But May Re-Open Soon

Memphis nightclub Club 152 on Beale Street in Downtown Memphis was raided and shutdown by the district attorney’s office last Thursday after an undercover investigation revealed drug sales by club employees.

Reportedly, over ten sales of illegal drugs were purchased by undercover officers since November.

The illegal drugs included marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs such as Percocet and Xanax.

The club was deemed a public nuisance not only for drugs but for other crimes and violence by the Shelby County District Attorney, Amy Weirich, however could re-open under a proposed settlement and agreement between the club’s attorney Ted Hansome and Tennessee State Prosecutor Katie Ratton.

Upon judges approval, the club could re-open as early as this weekend.
