Rapper Lil Wyte, who has been busy traveling and working on new music, decided he would salute two of Memphis’ legendary hip hop artists, DJ Paul and Kingpin Skinny Pimp,who he says are two of the main reasons behind why he is a rapper. In a post on photo sharing site Instagram, the rapper wrote in his caption that all it took to motivate a white (Wyte) boy from the hood was Skinny Pimp’s lyrics and DJ Paul’s beats.

Prior to his salute to Skinny Pimp and DJ Paul, the rapper saluted female rappers La Chat and Gangsta Boo whom he called “the most OG Triple OG bad b-----s of his city.
In other news, Lil Wyte is currently working on a new album alongside Frayser Boy, B.A.R. (Bay Area Representatives), which is slated to be dropped January 21, 2014.
According to the rapper, the album will feature the likes of JellyRoll, Miscellaneous, Gangsta Boo, amongst others.
