Justin Timberlake is proving that people really want great music. Artists that can deliver great music, such as the likes of Adele and Taylor Swift, are racking up big album sales. Justin Timberlake’s newest project “The 20/20 Experience” has managed to do that, and in turn has landed him the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 with sells of 968,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The Pop/R&B singer and actor album managed to not only top the Billboard 200 after a seven year hiatus, he also took the No. 1 spot on iTunes in 89 countries and debuted #1 in Germany, Australia, Korea, Canada, Ireland, Asia, Switzerland, New Zealand and other places.
In addition, JT’s album “The 20/20 Experience” became the biggest first week sale for a male music artist in five years and the third-largest digital debut following behind the likes of Taylor Swift and the controversial Lady Gaga.
Justin Timberlake’s latest album music release “The 20/20 Experience” has also been named the fastest-selling album worldwide in iTunes history, amongst other accomplishments.
In related news, in promotion of Justin Timberlake’s album “The 20/20 Experience” the singer will be co-headlining the Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour alongside rapper Jay-Z, as reported on MemphisRap.com.
The Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour will be kicking off July 17, 2013 in Toronto, Canada and will be wrapping up August 16, 2013 in Miami, Florida at the Sun Life Stadium.
