Memphis rappers Gangsta Boo and La Chat are set to release their upcoming EP entitled “Witch.”

The Witch project contains new songs of the two Southern female rappers’ newly recorded songs together.

Gangsta Boo, the original first lady of Three 6 Mafia, and La Chat, who recorded multiple tracks associated with Hypnotize Minds label, including the infamous Chicken Head with rapper Project Pat, spoke with MTV on their new project.

According to Gangsta Boo, they had been planning the project or some type of collaboration project for years.

Boo says right now a lot of female rappers are simply ‘rapping models’ and there’s not many hardcore female rappers that can go toe to toe with the men out right now besides Nicki Minaj.

Gangsta Boo and La Chat’s “Witch” project features production by Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul as well as Drumma Boy, DJ Squeeky and The Colleagues.

Witch is expected to be released online and on the streets on May 27th.
