First Lady Michelle Obama is Coming to Memphis

First lady Michelle Obama is bringing some love to Memphis, TN on Wednesday in a planned visit to the city.

Obama’s scheduled visit to Memphis, TN includes a stop at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Our first lady, Michelle Obama, plans to have a visit with the St. Jude patients – children receiving treatment in the hospital.

Along with visiting the kids, Michelle Obama is also expected to take a tour of the state-of-the-art St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962.

The hospital helped to raise the survival rate of childhood cancer from 20% to 80% and is working to increase its overall survival rate up to 90% over the next decade.

Among Michelle Obama, other first ladies to visit St. Jude include Hilary Clinton, Barbara Bush and Nancy Reagan.
