Minnesota Twins Denard Span Hits His Mother with Foul Ball!

Minnesota Twins leadoff man Denard Span had a host of family and friends at his game against the New York Yankees. Span approached the plate with the bat and hit a foul ball. The foul ball accidentally struck his mother in the chest.

Denard quickly ran over to his mother’s aide and stayed with her while the paramedics checked her out.

Span’s mother Wanda Wilson was joined by approximately 20 friends and family members however, she was the only one injured.

You would think that she would leave the game but, no, Mrs. Wanda returned to the game just in a different section. She was sitting near the third-base dugout. After that hit from her son in the first inning, she learned her lesson.
