This was a high school game for the books. The West won over the Wast 107-104 with a banger. East side were down 102-93 before they went on a 11-2 run. Just like a lot of teams, the runs are always matched. Not wanting to lose the game, they should have put away early, the West started in on the East.
“I saw an opening and shot it with confidence,” Knight said. “I just had to follow through and do what I normally do, keep shooting. It’s just the work I put in. I work hard every day for opportunities like that so I can have the confidence in those situations.”
The West did a great job as well as Memphis’s own Joe Jackson for the East. These young players are our future and our future looks extremely bright for the basketball world.
