UrbanWorld Wireless Offers Ringtone Deal To Artists E-40, Yukmouth, Too $hort, Keak Da Sneak

UrbanWorld Wireless (UWW), a provider of digital entertainment content, and Danger, Inc., a mobile Internet software and service company, have expanded their mobile content deal to provide mobile hip-hop content. The deal will include exclusive mobile content from artists such as E-40, Too $hort, Yukmouth and Keak Da Sneak. UrbanWorld Wireless plans to distribute their content worldwide through Danger’s international distribution channels which are located in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Germany.

In addition, both companies will be launching a new hip-hop mobile trivia game “E-40 Presents Hip Hop 201” where the player’s knowledge will be tested on hip-hop with more than 100 trivia questions. By playing the trivia game, players will have the chance to compete and win exclusive ringtones provided by E-40.

A partnership formed between UrbanWorld Wireless (UWW) and Danger, Inc. will also allow them to support independent and established “free agent” artists under the ringtone category “Future Flavas/Rising Stars.” The category will be an outlet to showcase new and original music through the digital distribution wish is stated to be the first offer through Danger’s mobile Internet platform.

Keak Da Sneak who is credited with coining the term “hyphy” will be the first artist featured in the category.

Other talents that has taken part in the digital entertainment content services provided by UrbanWorld Wireless include comedian Katt Williams, Oscar-winning duo Three 6 Mafia, and professional football player Warrick Dunn.
