T.I. has revealed that when he releases his T.I. vs T.I.P. album, which is now slated for July, that it will be more than the T.I. fans are accustom to — “I’m not just making an album, I’m making f—in’ opera here,” he chuckled in a recent statement. “Sometime people might see me act a certain way one time and another way one another time.
This is the same T.I. which could’ve been out of the game due to a heartbreaking lost last May when T.I.’s best friend Philant Johnson was shot to death in his tour bus by unknown assailants. The death reportedly almost caused T.I. to retire from the rap game.
But evidently, that’s not going to happen as the Atlanta rapper/actor revealed some of the album’s big name collaborators Sunday night via phone from Atlanta.
“I’m anticipating going in with Eminem,” T.I. stated. “Eminem, we got a real hot concept that we spoke about over the phone. It’s gonna be on some real creative sh–. JT, Justin Timberlake, we’re just waiting on the proper song to get him on my album as well.”
