Q-Tip features politician Barack Obama on a song, whose vocals will be used for his latest album “The Renaissance,” reports New York Post’s Page Six, which is expected to release in June. In addition to Barack Obama the rapper has worked with Norah Jones and Spike Lee on the project.
The 37-year-old tells the New York Post’s Page Six, “I’ve got Norah Jones on there, but Barack is the big one. You’ll see what happens, I can’t reveal too much.”
In other news, Q-Tip reportedly stated he’s forming a hip hop group with rapper Common named “The Standard.”
In addition, “A Tribe Called Quest” is stated to be working on an album also to be released in 2008.
