Rapper David Banner Bounces Back With New Album

So far, the rapper says that 2007 has been the best year of his life and that he has learnt to say no and not take on other people’s problems. “My father had brain and lung cancer, and I had high blood pressure because I was working 18-hour days.

After a “terrible” 2006 album, rapper David Banner tells Billboard that he’s coming with a new sense of self and fresh outlook for 2007 and beyond. So far, the rapper says that 2007 has been the best year of his life and that he has learnt to say no and not take on other people’s problems. “My father had brain and lung cancer, and I had high blood pressure because I was working 18-hour days. You have to value the person you are,” states Banner.

Banner who’s been striving to do good for the community and the upcoming youth took the initiative as one of the first rappers to help with the rebuilding effort in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. The rapper even states that he gave out his own clothing to victims and organized numerous events designed to help displaced victims. The rapper volunteered for roughly six months for Hurricane Katrina in which even his own business wasn’t right. The rapper couldn’t help it, he has a big heart.

As of now the rapper is looking forward to his upcoming Summer album “The Greatest Story Ever Told” which features tracks created by himself as well as Nitti, Cool & Dre, Akon and Get Cool 300 and features artists such as Jim Jones, UKG, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Kandi Burruss (Xscape) and others.

In other news, earlier this month, Banner’s cartoon “That Crook’d Sipp” debuted on Cartoon Network Adult Swim in which he plays the main character Virgil.
