New Online TV Network to Host Over 100 Shows on Hip-Hop

Joost, which is a global TV distribution platform that offers a new way of watching high quality television online, will be host to over 135 shows from Jump Off TV on hip-hop which will range from World Rap Championships, Stripes (interviews with Hip Hops veterans), and more. Joost combines TV with instant messaging where channel viewers can not only talk to each other but also to friends via an instant messaging program all compatible with programs such as Gmail and Jabber. Viewers can also even tell the world what they think of shows by rating them while they watch online television.

Viewers who have access to a broadband internet connection will enjoy Joost’s high quality full-screen television entertainment broadcast free of charge.

According to Joost’s executive vice president Yvette Alberdingk Thijm, adding Jump Off TV will help increase not only their audience but will allow them to provide another genre to their current lineup of music programming.
