MemphisRap.com is excited to welcome professional reviewer and writer Jabari Oliver.
Jabari Oliver who is an established writer and a former on-air personality for his University radio station WURC-FM and now a Memphis Radio Group Account Executive, begun his writing career at the age of 10, where he became a published poet and eventually garnered 3 different publications in respectable hard-covered national anthologies. Due to his love for music and following in the footsteps of his father a nationally known reviewer with a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology and a mother who holds a Doctor of Education Ph.D, he couldn’t help but to have a love for music and writing. “We’re excited to have Jabari Oliver as a part of the team. I think his regular reviews will be not only entertaining, but educational and provide indepth thoughts and views on CD’s as a whole. Jabari has excellent writing skills, street sensibilities and is in touch with music. I think a lot of artists, labels and music fans will appreciate his skills. I look forward to reading his reviews,” states Charla Littlejohn, Co-founder of MemphisRap.com.
Jabari Oliver majored in English and Mass Communications and carries a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
