Memphis Teen Girl Beaten Over MySpace Messages?! Nike Shoe Imprinted On Face

A 15 year-old teen girl, Mercedes Leake, was severely beaten after coming from Memphis City School’s Trezevant High School, near a church on Mountain Terrace Wednesday afternoon within the Frayser area of Memphis, TN.

Her aunt, Nicole Dotson, said that 15 boys and girls may have deliberately followed her niece home that evening and ‘jumped’ on her on the way.

“She got a tennis shoe print on her face,” Dotson said, reported WMCTV. Dotson added that her niece’s face literally had “a Nike Air Force One tennis shoe print on it.”

There’s no real lead as to why this happened only a suspicion that it involved an argument over message sent on MySpace.

Others believe that it’s also gang related due to previous situations involving a group of girls that came looking for Dotson’s daughter and niece.

Nicole Dotson is the sister of the Lester Street Massacre suspect, Jesse Dotson.

The Memphis Police are currently investigating the violent attack, and no arrests have been made yet.
