Lil Flip pays tribute with Virgina Tech song to Students and Families

The song which is deep and emotional makes a tribute to the students who lost their lives and the families who will miss them. The rapper says “We just had a tragedy, April 16th, Monday, 7:15 AM. So I thought it would be selfish not to speak on it. So everybody who lost somebody at Virginia Tech on Monday; you can play this to help you get by,” says Lil Flip.

“We’ll keep you in our prays. Rest in peace everybody.”

On Monday morning, April 16th, 2007 at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia, one of the most horrific episodes of violence in collegiate history happened when, what many people call a massacre, 32 people’s lives were taken by a lone psychopathic gunman, Cho Seung-Hui, who in the end turned his gun on himself and committed suicide.

The Virgina Tech song by Lil Flip laces Cindi Lauper’s (Grammy Award-winning singer and Emmy Award-winning film, television and theatre actress) hit song “Time After Time” which was on the top charts album entitled “She’s So Unusual” released in 1984.

Lil Flip’s latest album “I Need Mine,” a double disc CD, is in stores now and was released March 27, 2007. The album features Lil’ Keke, Mike Jones, Nate Dogg, Mya, Mannie Fresh and more and was previously ranked #15 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts, now holding spot #75.
