Independent Memphis rap artist Denea is ‘Shinin’

With appearances on Showtime at the Apollo and The Today Show, newcomer rap artist Denea’ is definitely ‘Shinin’. In an interview with MemphisRap.com Denea’ tells her growing fans about her upcoming album that’s about to drop currently titled ‘SHININ’ featuring Gangsta Blac, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Al Kapone, King JC, Tom Skeemask, Chopper Girl, and more…

Denea’ has been rapping since the age of 11, soaking in ever type of music that her ears could catch a hold of. Now, getting set to make her grand entrance into the Memphis rap game, Denea would like to extend her love to those who have showed her love. In this interview we think Denea’ said it best with.. “People are constantly saying.. “You don’t look like a rapper..” and my response is, “So what’s a rapper suppose to look like?” I think that’s why a lot of people do accept me. I’m not out here trying to be someone that I’m not. I’m white.. I do realize that. It just so happens that I can rap, and that’s what I’m good at and what I love… and that’s what I’m going to do.”
