Drake Signs Artist ILoveMakonnen To OVO Imprint

Rapper Drake has signed Atlanta based emcee and producer ILoveMakonnen, born Makonnen Shera, to his record label October’s Very Own aka OVO.

Drake made the announcement that he signed the artist to OVO Sound recently drawing more attention to the rapper’s new release entitled Tuesday which features rapper Drake.

OVO Sound is distributed by Warner Brothers and co-founded by Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib.

Other artists on the OVO roster include Majid Jordan, OB O’Brien, PartyNextDoor and in-house producers Boi-1da, Mike Zombie, Nineteen85, Noah “40” Shebib and T-Minus.

Currently, rapper Drake is on tour with Lil Wayne for their Drake VS Lil Wayne tour.
