Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 – New Maps, Game Modes + $1M Call of Duty Mobile Championship

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 introduces new maps and game modes as well as the Call of Duty Mobile Championship for $1M in prizes and rewards.

If you are not hip by now to the mobile version of Call of Duty, you will be after this. For the past few seasons, Call of Duty Mobile has introduced themes with a number of guns, maps, challenges, rewards and more.

Seraph Desperada Call of Duty Mobile character

This season in Call of Duty Mobile Season 6, “Once Upon a Time in Rust,” the theme is based around a ‘wild west’ or what some would call an American frontier theme that dons a Ghost – Cowboy character and Seraph – Desperada character which can be obtained when you get a battle pass or premium pass, when you complete tiers.

In Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6, gamers should expect an enhanced user interface, new maps, new game modes such as 1v1 Duel, Capture the Gold (a spin of Capture the Flag) and Kill Confirmed, new weapons, a new Annihilator Operator Skill which comes as a reward with the free battle pass, new daily and season challenges, a better XP based progression and of course a new battle pass and premium pass rewards.

Battle Royale players should be looking out for a new class called Poltergeist which is expected to come sometime in May and new weapons (S36 and GKS), a helicopter flare, among other improvements.

In addition to all this, the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship was announced which has a prize pool of $1 million along with numerous prizes for qualifiers who participate in the different stages of the tournament.

To be eligible for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship you must be a registered Call of Duty Mobile user, reside in an eligible region, be at least 18 years of age and be ranked in the game as a Veteran or higher.

If you aren’t ranked as a Veteran or higher, you still have time by getting on the game asap. You will have to play the multi-player ranked mode either with a random team (solo) or with a squad to get your rank up.

You have 4 weekends to qualify starting now and you must get at least 80 points to move on to the next stage.

The good thing is that if you don’t succeed on the first qualification date you can try on the next date to move on to the next stage of the tournament to play against other competitors.

How to access the CODM Championship

To access the tournament, once you log-in, click the second banner on the right side that says “Ranked Match” and then click the small banner that says “World Championship 2020” at the left top.

Otherwise, you can click the banner that says Multiplayer (right side) > Ranked Match (left side) > Season Details (blue box with your XP rank) > World Championship 2020.
