Austrian Confesses To ‘Locking Daughter As Sex Slave in Cellar’ and Fathering 7 Children By Her

The Austrian man, the father, the grandfather, identified as Mr. Josef Fritzl, has confessed to holding his daughter hostage for 24 years and fathering seven children by her.

As recently reported on Memphisrap.com, an Austrian man, 73-years-old, allegedly fathered 7 children by his own daughter who he held captive in his cellar along with three of the surviving children. Well now the man, the father, the grandfather, identified as Mr. Josef Fritzl, has confessed to holding his daughter hostage for 24 years and fathering seven children by her.

The daughter, identified as Elisabeth Fritzl, 42-year-old, had been missing since 1984 when she was 18 years old, police said at a news conference.

Sources say that Elisabeth Fritzl was held hostage in a windowless cell in the basement of her father Josef Fritzl’s home for more than two decades and by his own confession, had seven children by him.

Sources stated to CNN that Josef Fritzl also told police that one of the children he fathered with his daughter Elisabeth Fritzl was a twin who died and he admitted to burning the body of the dead child in an oven.

The incident was found out after a woman identified as Kristen Fritzl, 19-years-old, was hospitalized after falling unconscious, according to police.

Kristen was admitted to a hospital in Amstetten, outside Vienna, by her grandfather with a note from her biological mother requesting help.

DNA tests later revealed her grandfather, Josef Fritzl, was also her father, police said according to ORF, Austria’s state-run news agency.

An investigation began which revealed that Josef Fritzl may have fathered at least six children with his daughter, forcing her and three of the surviving children, ages of 5 and 19, to live in the cellar of his house, according to ORF’s Peter Schmitzberger.

ORF later stated that the 73-year-old led police to the several hidden rooms in his cellar accessible only by an electronic passcode that he provided to police.

The rooms included sleeping quarters, a kitchen and a bathroom, which Mr. Fritzl told police he built.

Josef Fritzl’s daughter Elisabeth Fritzl along with three of the surviving children — Kerstin, 19; Stefan, 18; and Felix, 5 — remained locked in the basement with neither seeing the light of day during their entire time in captivity, according to statements giving to police.

Strangly enough, Josef Fritzl reportedly lived with his wife, Rosemarie Fritzl, who had no idea about her husband’s other family living in the cellar, police said.

Residents of the neighborhood, who after learning of the incident, reportedly said there were no indications of the horrific natures that were taking place in Josef Fritzl’s house.

“One who looks after their grandchildren whilst their mother just ran away. We were all asking ourselves what kind of mother would do that to their children?,” said one neighbor.

“Mr. F. and I grew up together” said Erika Manhalter, another neighbor who lives only a few meters away from their house. “We thought this would be a family just like others, but you cannot look through people,” she told Austria’s Kurier newspaper.

Police are now awaiting DNA tests to confirm all relationships to Josef Fritzl, who faces “severe crimes against family members,” according to police.

Allegedly the sexually abuse by her father began when she was only age 11, Elisabeth Fritzl told police.

Sources state that both Josef Fritzl and Elisabeth Fritzl were apprehended on Saturday near the hospital for questioning, and once police assured Elisabeth Fritzl that she would never have contact with her father Josef F. again, she revealed the entire story, according to statements giving to Amstetten police.
