Announced as the lightest shoe in basketball, Adidas introduces the second edition of its adiZero Crazy Light’s, the all new and fresh adiZero Crazy Light 2. The new adiZero Crazy Light 2’s, which are boasted as being 10% lighter than competitors, weighs an estimated 9.5 ounces and made it’s first appearance at the Clippers training facility this past week.
According to Adidas, the light weight adiZero’s are lighter, brighter and stronger, which include a newly engineered Sprintframe that adds stability and speed. The adiZero Crazy Light 2 also include more cushion without sacrificing stability and performance and no ridges.
Designed by Robbie Fuller, who worked with adidas Innovation Team, the goal was to refine the adiZero Crazy Light’s and keep the shoe strong to withstand court play and maintain performance.
It’s predecessor was a hit in the NBA, high schools and college basketball with more than 1 million people around the world ballin in the shoe. So far, it seems that Adidas must be on to something with adiZero Crazy Light’s.
Can’t you just hear everyone singing “My adidas?”
The Adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 is set to go on sale May 24 and is retailed at $140.
