“Rim of The World” Netflix Movie Review “Excellent Cast, Enjoyable Film” (Watch the Trailer)

Rim of The World

You know a movie is a good movie if you feel that you could watch it again and that’s exactly what this movie makes you want to do.

Rim of The World, a Netflix and Wonderland Sound and Vision production movie directed by McG, stars Benjamin Flores Jr. aka Lil P-Nut, 16, Jack Gore, 14, Miya Cech, 12, and Alessio Scalzotto, 16. All the young actors did an excellent job at portraying their roles in the movie.

The four teens all come together at camp as strangers with different backgrounds not realizing that soon they each would become heros. Though they started out strangers they all soon begin relating to each other and building a relationship that would determine their fate.

Benjamin Flores Jr., who started out as a 7 year-old Memphis rapper, plays Dariush, a somewhat rugged and confident rich teen who doesn’t care to share his feelings and thoughts at anytime. Dariush keeps the movie going and entertaining.

By the way, if you are into Tyler Perry’s “Haves and the Have Nots,” Peter Parros, who plays Judge David Harrington in the TV series, appears in the movie as the father of Dariush before he leaves home off to “Rim of The World” camp.

Jack Gore plays Alex, a self-proclaimed ‘nerd’ who doesn’t voice himself much but soon learns how to become a leader in the group through life-changing challenges.

Miya Cech plays ZhenZhen, a run-away who escapes from her life in China after feeling that she was an unwanted girl and her father’s preference was a boy. Cech plays an excellent role in displaying ‘girl power’ as her character ZhenZhen after first using silence to keep many from speaking to her.

Viewers will absolutely love how ZhenZhen and Alex start out as strangers but soon develop a platonic ‘interest’ in each other.

Finally, Alessio Scalzotto, who plays Gabriel, soon meets the trio at a camp outing where a dispute ensues. After Gabriel’s arrival, this is when the adventure actually begins when the aliens arrive.

If you haven’t already watched Rim of The World, it’s available for streaming on Netflix.

Rim of The World movie is rated TV-14.
