Mug Shot of Pastor Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church in Atlanta

Megachurch pastor Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr., 50, of World Changers Church International a church of around 30,000 members in Atlanta, was arrested in Georgia on charges of allegedly attacking his 15-year-old daughter in an argument over her going to a party.

The pastor is accused of choking and punching his daughter, throwing her to the ground, and hitting her with his shoe during their fight.

The pastor is being charged with simple battery and cruelty to children.

Dollar admits he tried to restrain his daughter, who at that point "became very disrespectful" and started hitting him, so he wrestled her to the floor and began spanking his daughter.

The police, who responded to the incident at 1 a.m. after receiving a 911 call, found a scratch on the girl's neck near her throat, which she claimed her father did during their fight.

Reportedly, the only witness, Dollar's 19-year-old daughter Alexandria, confirmed her sibling's accusation saying Dollar did choke her sister for around five seconds with both hands before grabbing her by the shoulders, slapping her in the face and throwing her to the ground.

Alexandria then allegedly ran to get their mother, who's arrival in the kitchen, where the fight took place, ended the fight.

Dollar was arrested and bonded out of a Fayette county jail shortly after.
