The Big Three are back in effect: Boston Celtics vs. Denver Nuggets

Whoa, Boston’s Big Three are back in effect and ready for the playoffs. Boston, a team 2 years ago who won the NBA championship was going through a bit of a down stretch this season. Coming into tonight’s game the Celtics picked it up and put the pieces back together to start their playoff run. Beating the likes of Los Angeles Lakers, Detroit and others, their confidence clearly came back. Entering tonight’s game they were fresh off a loss against Utah Sunday but got a huge win tonight.

In the win at the Boston Garden 113-99, Boston moves to 46-25 and just 22-12 at home. Boston’s home stretch this year has decreased a bit but they will have plenty of games to make it up because they have a 6 game home stand.

The Big 3 of Garnett, Pierce and Allen are experiencing older age. Suffering from injuries throughout the year, the guys feel much better now and are ready to get back to the championship. “We have been able to get the job done on the road, but this is where we eat. This is where we set our table,” Pierce said. “Hopefully, we can just start playing well in this building and gather some momentum going into the playoffs.” “The Paul Pierce you saw out in Denver wasn’t the Paul Pierce that usually shows up to play,” he said. “Right now I’m as healthy as I’ve been all year and this is our time to start playing well.”

They have lots of help with the great youths of Rajon Rondo who recorded a triple double tonight, Nate Robinson, and Tony Allen. This team has alot of weapons and are ready to show us how they use them.
