Former major league baseball star Dwight Gooden was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. Gooden was a pitcher for the Mets and Yankees. He was arrested shortly after leaving the scene of the car accident in Franklin Lakes, NJ. A child was in the passenger side of the vehicle with him. No one was hurt in either car as they collided early Tuesday morning at 9a.m.
Gooden is now released on his own recognizance until his trial.
