Academy Award winning Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia (Juicy J and DJ Paul) will be one of the initial twenty-five people inducted into the inaugural Memphis Music Hall of Fame, a project of the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum.
At a press conference, it was announced that Three 6 Mafia as well as the likes of Al Green, Isaac Hayes, B.B. King, Elvis Presley, Willie Mitchell, Estelle Axton & Jim Stewart (Stax Records) and others who have contributed to the Memphis Music Industry, will all be inducted into the new Memphis Music Hall of Fame that takes place November 29 at the Cannon Center for The Performing Arts.
The inductees selected for the inaugural Memphis Music Hall of Fame was based on a number of criteria and the decisions were made by a Nominating Committee of local and national music professionals.

The ceremony for the Memphis Music Hall of Fame scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Cannon Center for The Performing Arts in Downtown Memphis, TN.
