Salon Owner to Lil Scrappy: ‘I’m Not Racist’; Talks Scrapping His Daughter’s Birthday Party

Salon owner Angela Shannon has fired back at Love & Hip Hop star and rapper Lil Scrappy for calling her a racist after she scrapped his daughter’s birthday party last weekend.

Shannon, the owner of Glamour Girls Day Spa, says she is not racist and only cancelled his daughter’s birthday party because Scrappy was two hours late.

Lil Scrappy, on the other hand, claimed that Shannon scrapped the event because they were black and she’s a racist.

Scrappy also claims that he was only late 20 minutes and not the two hours that Shannon claims.

On last week, the police were called to her salon outside of Atlanta where Scrappy refused to leave citing a down-payment had already been made, but when they arrived twenty-minutes late, the event was cancelled and they were allegedly told the salon did not want to serve “you people.”

Lil Scrappy eventually left the salon after police got half his money and the salon agreed to send the rest by mail.

Angela Shannon says she has given Lil Scrappy a full refund of $275.42 and insists the cancellation had nothing to do with race.
