Rapper Common Partners With Lincoln In New Promotion Deal


Chicago-native and socially conscious rapper Common will premier in the new 2008 Lincoln Navigator commercial.

Chicago-native and socially conscious rapper Common will premier in the new 2008 Lincoln Navigator commercial set to air during NBC’s Sunday Night Football on Nov. 25.

The promo is part of the automobile company’s new ad campaign, which will feature Common in next year’s television, radio, and print advertisements. Lincoln executives felt that the rapper/actor’s style of rap and fashion depicted the personality of the new Navigator.

Common is also part of the cross-promotional development segment of the SUV, including associations with Common’s own products such as books, songs, and concerts.
