The Bratz resembling warmhearted singer was just as in awe as everyone who sat watching the TV screen at home including Simon Cowell who shook his head. Evidentally, even though the singer had the backing behind her, the phone calls to help take her to the season’s finale wasn’t enough. “You already have made it,” Paula Abdul told the singer during her elimination.

It should have been obvious because if you caught Ryan Seacrest’s face when he stated, “Melinda Doolittle going home” right before the commercial break and coming back to show the mini clip of her visiting Nashville, right then, there was a feeling that this talented young lady would not be moving on to the next round.

As for Blake Lewis, 25, who seems to beatbox every chance he gets on the songs that he sings, he is now going ‘head up’ with 17 year-old Jordin Sparks who has been winning the hearts of everyone shakingly.

Maybe this was just a sign that there are bigger and better things waiting in line for Ms. Melinda Doolittle.
