The official music video for the recent hip hop collaboration ‘Stick Em’ Up‘ with Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul, Drum Squad’s Drumma Boy, and ‘Lock ‘Em Da Trunk’ rapper/producer DJ Zirk (2 Thick) which was released online at the beginning of the year is still buzzin.
The new rap song ‘Stick Em’ Up’ features the long awaited collaboration between two of the most notable founding fathers of the legendary Memphis rap sound that influenced Southern rap all-around — DJ Paul and D.J. Zirk.
The music video for the song, Stick Em’ Up, which uses chorus from D.J. Zirk’s 1992 classic “A-z Out,” was directed by DJ Paul.
The recent Memphis rap collaboration “Stick Em’ Up” is featured on DJ Paul’s ‘To Kill Again’ mixtape hosted by DJ Scream, DJ Whoo Kid, which is available for mixtape download online.
If you haven’t caught the video, the scene starts out with DJ Paul and DJ Zirk getting a victim out of the trunk, who suddenly breaks free from them leading to DJ Paul and DJ Zirk chasing the victim, whose hands are tied and head is bagged, throughout the streets of Memphis.
Toward the end of the video, DJ Paul and DJ Zirk ride down on the victim, played by writer and artist Robert ‘Recklas’ Douglas, pinned in an alley, but what happens next — we won’t spoil it, if you haven’t seen it yet — you’ll have to watch the video.
Since the release of the Stick Em Up video, it has been getting great feedback from viewers online and is still buzzin on MemphisRap.com and across the internet on sites like WorldStarHipHop.com, YouTube and more.
