An Eightball & MJG concert with performances by Yukmouth and SoundChild Crew were a disappointment to fans after being pushed back in to the wee hours of the night due to racial profiling and interrogation.

Sources confirm that the concert originally set to take place in Springdale, AR was changed to a new location on the day of the event due to city officials being “afraid of violent behavior and riots” in the area allegedly stemming from Eightball & MJG’s lyrics.

City officials made an effort to distract its racial profiling by informing the staff of Springdale Sports Arena that its scheduled concert was not zoned for an audience of 3,000 attendees. Triggering a domino effect in the local area authorities activated the Drug Task Force and Gang Task Force through out the city to set up roadblocks, barricades, drug searching K-9’s and interrogation units on roads leading to and from the concert venue in Rogers, AR.

Set to kick off earlier Saturday night of April 21st, the concert’s opening act SoundChild Crew were on there way to the new location for the concert in Rogers, AR. After several hours of delay passing through roadblocks and check points, SoundChild Crew arrived at the venue around midnight. Shortly after pulling in the parking lot of the venue they were stopped by police on the unsubstantial driving violation of speeding in a 40 mph zone. When it was clear that this was a bogus stop they were repeatedly taunted and harassed by police and issued a warning to all passengers in the car including B. Reign and artist/producer Blu Tantrum both founding members of Soundchild Crew.

In an effort clearly aimed to antagonize and provoke the artist of SoundChild Crew, police again stopped the “artists” after leaving the venue.

Not long after this occured, Eightball and MJG were on there way to the venue and were also stopped, questioned and, for reasons unknown, returned backed to their hotel in the city of Rogers, AR, therefore resulting in no performance.

With continued harassment from police, Rap-A-Lot Records recording artist Yukmouth refused to be transported and perform at the concert.
