Young Money/OVO rapper Drake, full name Aubrey Drake Graham, gets personal with and about family in a throwback video which has surfaced online showing the rapper’s humble beginnings before all the acting fame and/or hip hop glory.
Drake starts out in the video introducing viewers to his late grandmother and mother, while taking viewers through their home and into his own bedroom or as he puts it – his “space.”
While in his room, Drake shows a picture of his dad mentioning his work with Al Green while crediting his father Dennis Graham, which he’s done on other occasions, as reported on MemphisRap.com, and thanking him for mentoring him.
Later the rapper shows off his album collection which includes Marvin Gaye, Kanye West, Jay-Z and others.
Afterward the rapper spits a short flow on his mic in ‘his space.’
Later in the video, his mother talks about Drake’s background, while old pictures of Drake appears over and over on the screen, with anorther cameo of his late grandmother who throws the deuces joking around while giving Drake a ‘hip’ album shout-out and plug.
