DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia Arrested On Illegal Weapon & Open Beer Charge In NY

Three 6 Mafia’s Academy Award-winning Memphis rapper, DJ Paul, is definitely a person of interest after being arrested while in Manhattan, New York on Sunday following a night out at a local restaurant.

Reportedly DJ Paul left a Manhattan restaurant with an open container and admitted to having a taser which is illegal to carry in New York.

So how did it all go down? According to reports, DJ Paul born Paul Beauregard was stopped by some police officers who spoke with him about his brew. DJ Paul was honest with the officers and informed them that he had a taser on him.

Makes you wonder if he was either handcuffed when he told them.

In the end, DJ Paul was arrested on an open container violation, misdemeanor possession of a weapon and plead not-guilty (Monday, Oct 15).

DJ Paul, who’s set to release his upcoming album “A Person of Interest” on October 22, is due in court in December.
