Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway has been inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame during the 2013 induction ceremony.
The annual induction ceremony was held this month at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, TN.
The former University of Memphis and NBA basketball start, was inducted along with 10 other inductees.
Along with Penny Hardaway the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame also inducted Frank Wychek, All-pro tight end for the Tennessee Titans; Larry Seivers, All-America wide receiver at the University of Tennessee; Trey Teague, outstanding center at the University of Tennessee and others.
In related news, Penny Hardaway just had a book released about his return to his Memphis neighbor hood to coach Lester Middle School, as reported on MemphisRap.com.
The book titled “On These Courts” was written by CNN writer Wayne B. Drash.
