Nas is set to do a benefit show at Virginia Tech in memory of the students that were lost in the “Virginia Tech Shooting”. Myspace, Facebook and YouTube has been a way for students who witness the tragedy to communicate with reporters and other students who attended Virginia Tech during the shootings. An Asian female student feels that the media targeted the race issue right off the back instead of really covering what needed to be discuss during the early stages of the incident. Saira Haider of Collegiate Times created a major buzz from a tiny newspaper company that now is getting worldwide exposure after writing a heart felt story of the events that happen based on surviving students testaments.
