UGK’s Pimp C, who recently, in the August 2007 issue of Ozone Magazine, made a statement that “Atlanta Is Not The South” made a recent apology in a recent public statement “To all my Atlanta fans and friends…
Before this statement, Houston veteran, Lil Troy, made claims that Pimp C was mad at him because he exposed the legendary Scarface as a snitch.
“That man is coming after me because I exposed (fellow veteran Houston rapper) Scarface of being a snitch and introducing his friends, George Washington Simmons and Byron Keith Harris, to the Feds as his cocaine suppliers,” said Troy in a statement.
“Pimp ain’t even no gangster. I went to jail on drug charges. He got locked up for pulling a gun on a woman in a mall. Is that gangster? You can’t compare your rap sheet to mine,” Troy continued.
No official response has been made yet from Pimp C regarding Troy’s statement.
UGK’s forthcoming album, Underground Kingz drops Tuesday, August 7th and features Three 6 Mafia, Outkast, Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Lil Jon, Akon, and others.
