Rap artist Shamrock, who is the winner of VH1’s ‘White Rapper Show’ (2007), sits down with Select-O-Hits TV for an exclusive interview with MemphisRap.com’s Deanna Brown.
MemphisRap.com’s @deannabrown recently linked up with the Memphis based distribution company Select-O-Hits for an exclusive interview with the Wyte Music recording artist Shamrock.
Shamrock explains how he got his name, where he grew up, when and where he graduated college, and what it was like after quickly becoming a star after appearing on VH1. Shamrock gives Deanna inside scoop on what he has been up to in the 4 years since winning $100,000 from VH1’s ‘Ego Trip’s (White) Rapper Show.’
Shamrock says he took the $100,000 check from VH1 and invested it in his music career after donating 10G’s to charity.
‘I bought beats, did my own photo shoots and graphic design. I paid for everything. I get a lot of satisfaction out of being able to make those moves myself,” Shamrock explained.
The rapper went on to explain how he and Lil’ Wyte hooked up.
“We actually linked up to do a song in Atlanta and the energy was just there,” stated Shamrock.
Lil’ Wyte eventually signed Shamrock to Wyte Music to release Shamrock’s first national debut release ‘The Wyte Rapper Show’ under Select-O-Hits Distribution.
‘The Wyte Rapper Show’ album will be released in stores and online March 15 on Wyte Music/Select-O-Hits and is available for pre-order at online retailers including Amazon.com and SelectOHits.com.
Shamrock also revealed in his interview that he’s a chef at heart and quote “loves to cook.”
